ADA website lawsuits in 2025: the year in numbers
US federal courts saw 3,117 website accessibility lawsuits in 2025, 27% more than in 2024; New York, Florida and Illinois accounted for over 80%. In H1 2025, 69% of 2,019 federal and state filings targeted e-commerce.
We tested 20 Chinese brands’ EU stores. All of them fail WCAG 2.1 AA
In October 2026 we ran axe-core on the home and product pages of 20 EU storefronts of Chinese consumer brands: all failed, with a median of 76 failing elements; 16 had missing alt text and both sites with an overlay still failed.
